Oggi volevo postare una Fata del giardino, ma dal momento che le foto mi riescono bene solo nelle giornate soleggiate, sono stata costretta a rimandare...(P.S. Helena, hai vinto il GIVE AWAY della Fata, scrivimi!!!).
Perciò oggi vi voglio parlare di Marika Righetto, del suo talento e del suo gatto!


Hi everybody!
Today I was going to post one "Garden fairy" of mine, but since I'm not keen on tacking pictures when it' cloudy, I pushed it back ...(P.S. Helena, you won the GIVE AWAY of the garden fairy, write me please!!!).
So, I'm very pleased to tell you somthing about Marika Righetto, her talent and her cat!

I passerotti sono uno dei progetti del mio ultimo libro di cui la dolcissima Marika è la fotografa;
direi che le immagini parlano da sole della sua bravura!


The sparrows are a project of my latest book, Marika is the photographer.
These wonderful pictures prove her talent!

Il suo gatto si è senza ombra di dubbio divertito sul set fotografico...

Her cat enjoyed a lot during the photo set...

...dopo un pò di giocosa tensione mi sa che è nato un'amore!

... at the beginning he was nervous, but then he falled in love with the sparrow!

P.S.  gli uccellini a gambe all'aria nelle foto stanno bene e godono di ottima salute!  ;-)

Le regine dei fiori! The queens of the flowers!

Ciao ragazze! Eccole qui le mie regine dei fiori!
Sabato a Cantù ci siamo proprio divertite al corso dei fiori, ormai siamo un gruppo affiatatissimo!

Hi everybody! Here are some of my queens of  flowers!
On Saturday in Cantù we spent a lovely time at the course of the flowers. By now we are a very tight-knit group!

Purtroppo, come vi dicevo, non ho potuto fare tante foto perchè la mia macchina fotografica non aveva più le batterie cariche... la cosa che mi è dispiaciuta di più è quella di non aver potuto fotografare la meravigliosa torta fatta da Pizca, una vera OPERA d'ARTE, di una bontà indescrivibile!

As I told you, unfortunatelly I didn't take many pictures because the battery of my camera was low... I'm very sorry because I couldn't take a picture of Pizca's pie, really a MASTERPIECE!

Bravissima Pizca, anche tu sei una grande artista come Pilar!

Bravo Pizca! you're an artist like Pilar!

Ho realizzato un piccolo "porta tutto", (che per me è diventato poi il mio "porta ditale" ufficiale), con un piccolo kit della "Clover".

I've just sewed a little "everything holder" (I use it as a "thimble holder"). I found the patterns in a little kit made by "Clover".

Si cuce tutto a mano ed è veramente molto semplice da fare! Potete guardare il tutorial QUI.
Le misure a disposizione fra le quali scegliere sono tre, io ho scelto la più piccola.

It's available in three sizes. I chose the smallest.

Il kit lo potete trovare nelle mercerie, io l'ho acquistato dalle ragazze di Merceria e Dintorni,  che saluto con affetto!

You can find the kit to the haberdashery. I found it at Merceria e Dintorni in Padua, hi gals!

Domani posterò le foto del corso dei fiori di ieri a Cantù, ci siamo divertite!!!
Purtroppo le foto non saranno tante perchè sul più bello la mia macchina fotografica ha finito le batterie, ARGGG!!! e portarne altre due di scorta no???!!! Sembrava brutto? Che testa che ho!! ;-)

Tomorrow I'm going to post the pictures of my latest course in Cantù. We spent a lovely time!
Unfortunatelly I have just a few pictures because my batteries were low... ARGGG!!!!
I didn't carry on any battery in reserve!!!  I have my head in the clouds!! ;-)

io mi sto un pò allenando con i fiori in vista di sabato prossimo, per il corso che faremo a Color and Craft.

Hi everybody,
in order to be ready for next Saturday course at Color and Craft, I'm doing training in sewing flowers.

Sono sempre un molto emozionata prima di un corso!!! Preferisco allenarmi un pò prima, così, per sicurezza!

I'm very exciting when I'm going to set up a course!!! I'd rather to train a bit, just to be sure!

Ok, per oggi  mi sembra possa bastare, che faccio ora?

Il Corso alla Tertulia del Patch!! my course at La Tertulia del Patch!!

Today I post some pictures of my latest course in Madrid, at La Tertulia del Patch.

Il primo giorno abbiamo realizzato la A bag! Le mie alunne, bravissime, si sono divertite molto! Anch'io!

The first day we made the "A Bag"! My very skillful pupils enjoyed themseves very much! and so did I!

La bravissima Pilar mi ha regalato una miniatura Tilda, un vero capolavoro!
Pilar fa delle miniature veramente strabilianti, ha la magia nelle mani!! Grazie Pilar!

Pilar, very keen at sewing indeed, gave me as a present a Tilda's miniature, truly a masterpiece!
Pilar's miniatures are amazing! She looks like a wizard! Thankyou Pilar!

Il secondo giorno le mie numerose Chicas hanno fatto la Fata del Giardino...

During the second course day, my numerous chicas sewed the Garden Fairy...

ECCO LA FATA DI RUBY finita, fantastica!!!

il progetto è un pò lungo, e visto che eravamo in 18 non siamo riuscite a terminare tutti i passaggi...

This project takes a lot of time. Since we were 18 of us, we didn't finish it in time...

Peccato, però tutte le fate erano quasi pronte e Mati è stata così gentile da inviarmi una foto della sua fata che ha terminato a casa, bravissima Mati!

What a pity! In any case all the fairies were almost finished. Maty was very kind, she finished her craft at home and she sent me her fairy's pictures. Very good Mati!

Chicas, se volete inviarmi le fote delle vostre fatine finite sarò felicissima di postarle!

Chicas, send me the pictures of your fairies, and I'll be very happy to post them!
