Country Quilt di Natale... Country Quilt for Christmas...

Questa è una trapunta tutta dedicata al Natale... OGNI anno in occasione delle feste la tiro fuori dal baule e continuo l' opera di trapunto...un lavoro infinito.

This in my Christmas country quilt... I take it out of my trunk EVERY year during the holyday and I go on quilting... It's an endless job.

I quadrati con i Babbi Natale li ho trovati vari anni fa e sono di "debbie mumm", ho abbinato le stoffe in gradazione, e l'insieme eccolo qua! decisamente country!

I founded out the Santa Klaus squares many years ago, in a debbie mumm's fabric, I matched them with other fabrics, and this is the result! Very country!

La Neve!!!! The snow!!!

UAU! Ma è arrivata la neve!!! Questa mattina il giardino dei genitori di mio marito si presentava così!

Idee per la tavola di Natale! Some ideas for laying your Christmas table!

Vi lancio un'idea per preparare la tavola delle feste in modo originale...

perchè non annodare i tovaglioli con nastrino adorno di rose? pensatele rosse o bordeaux su tovaglia bianca riccamente imbandita di leccornie natalizie..che ne pensate?

Intanto vi presento dei colori più soft per il tea time: la gradite una tazza di the?

Here is an idea to lay your Christmas table...

Why not knotting your napkins with an adorned ribbon with roses! Imagine red or bordeaux roses on a white tablecloth full of christmas delicacies... what do you think about that?

By the way, I introduce you some soft colours for the tea time: would you like some tea?

Natale con gingerbread Gingerbread Christmas

Impiegandoci quasi un mese, sono riuscita a preparare questi gingerini che vi presento in questo post…tra un pannolino e una poppata , presa da una forma di bisogno di cucito compulsivo,(e qui voglio proprio vedere come mio marito farà la traduzione della frase in lingua inglese!!!!), sono arrivata a cucire con la piccola Giorgia in braccio…lei ha apprezzato molto, tanto è vero che si è addormentata al suono della macchina da cucire, la qualità delle cuciture invece ne ha risentito notevolmente!

I introduce you my gingerbreads! I’ve just finished them… I’ve been working for a month, changing diapers and feeding my baby girl. Totally addicted to sewing need, I was able to sew carrying my baby girl Giorgia in my arms. She was very happy about that, in fact she fell asleep listening the sewing machine noise. My seams felt the effect of the situation of course!

Pazienza, lo sappiamo solo io e voi! Nomino Giorgia mia assistente personale, che ne dite…se lo merita!

Never mind, You and I only know! I appointed Giorgia my personal assistant… she deserves it, doesen’t she?
